The Ca Mè Mallorquí is a strain of Dog form in Majorca Islands and historically it has been used as a pointing canine. It seems, and at this point, all authors agree that the Ca Mè comes from a ethnical group from the Kingdom of Navarre that swept the rest of the Iberian Peninsula and the Islets, entering in each position different influences to accommodate its chops to the requirements of stalking in each region. In this case, it appears that entered some influence of the Ca Eivissenc, to give to it more dexterity and lightness, which ultimately gave the current transubstantiate.

The Ca Mè is part of an ancient ethnical strain, with presence in the stalking of Majorca in the 13th century. It belongs to a box of canine types pointing tykes, veritably old and appreciated. Of this box have been deduced ultramodern types, that which as in the case of the Pointer, same have shifted its ancestors. 

These are some Spanish types of this box – pachón navarro, Perdigueiro Galego, Burgalese Pointer, Gorques d’Alacant – which have been veritably sensitive to the number of creatures; some are now close to extermination. 

It's one of the types from Balearic Islets most used by the nimrods of the islets, and that after having gone through a long period of loss of inheritable identity by continued crossings with foreign types, has begun its recovery with clear criteria both in terms morphology as to how to hunt point of the Ca Mè Mallorquí.
